Board Meeting Information

CYHA is governed by a 13-member Board of Directors (“the Board”). Four members are elected annually for a term of 3 years by the general membership of the association at an annual meeting held after the end of the regular hockey season. The President, or his/her designee, of the CYHA Parents Organization holds a voting seat on the board, while the West Genesee High School Hockey head coach holds a non-voting seat on the Board of Directors.

Open meetings of the Board of Directors are held year round on a regular basis and are open to all CYHA members. Meeting times, dates, locations, and minutes are posted below and can be subject to change. During the off-season, any member of the Board of Directors can be contacted for information on meetings. 

At the end of the season, typically in March, CYHA will hold its annual meeting. All members of CYHA are welcome to attend the meeting. At this meeting, the Board will review the season, honor sponsors, vote for new board members, and present the Ryan Schoonmaker Sportsmanship Awards and the CYHA Scholarship.
